As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Mabelvale, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication to help address security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor check-in processes at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain accurate access records, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and/or operational spaces.
  • Respond to incidents, delivery issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site policies and post orders.
  • Communicate with site personnel, transportation partners, and/or supervisors regarding access activity, inbound and outbound traffic, and unusual situations that may require follow-up.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, parking areas, trailer yards, and/or dock areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
