Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and entry and exit documentation at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor gates, entrances, docks, and/or other controlled access points to help support authorized movement of people, packages, and vehicles throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and operational issues according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, trailer yards, loading areas, and perimeter, with attention to access control activity, facility conditions, and security-related concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including directing visitors and/or employees, communicating with site contacts, and documenting security-related events in a clear and timely manner.
