As a Security Officer - Access Control Point in SEGUIN, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will support a secure environment through attentive observation, clear reporting, and exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Screen and direct incoming deliveries and contractors in accordance with site procedures, coordinating with appropriate site contacts as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
