About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Coordinator in Clinton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and care for people.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control issues, and incident details in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
