As a Security Officer Access Control Point in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns at a dynamic location. Your visible presence, professional communication, and customer-focused service will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate access-related logs, visitor records, and incident documentation as required by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
