As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Camilla, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production and warehouse areas.
  • Document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity, issue temporary credentials as directed, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help to identify security-related concerns at the food and beverage facility.
