You will perform routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at the location, screen individuals and/or vehicles entering the property, and document visitor, delivery, and contractor activity in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and restricted areas to help support security-related operations in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Assist with enforcing property rules related to access authorization, restricted areas, and prohibited items, while maintaining detailed and accurate security-related reports and logs.
