As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and document access activity in support of security-related operations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and/or delivery personnel regarding entry requirements, restricted areas, and facility rules while helping to support orderly access throughout the location.
