Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will also deliver strong customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with a caring, agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven team.

Requirements

  • Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and document deliveries, vehicles, and/or contractor access in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and communication updates, and relay important information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
