As a Security Officer Access Control Credential Audit in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain accurate visitor and access records, and communicate professionally with employees, guests, and site personnel. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor entry records, and help maintain accurate access-control documentation in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, exterior areas, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and security-related concerns.
  • Support the protection of critical infrastructure by following established procedures for contractor escorts, deliveries, restricted areas, and incident reporting.
