As a Security Officer Access Credential Driver in Monmouth, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
  • Support a professional, orderly environment at a food and beverage location by following sanitation-conscious site requirements and reporting maintenance or operational concerns through established channels.
