As a Security Officer Access Credential Validation Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
  • Control vehicle access by checking driver identification, delivery documentation, and authorization records before allowing entry to designated areas.
  • Respond to access control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations through established reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
