As a Security Officer Credential Validation in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, document observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and vendors. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel according to site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Support a clean, orderly work environment by following food facility access requirements and documenting incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately.
