About The Position

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the security department, providing guidance and support to the team. The Security Manager will direct daily shift assignments and security deployments to ensure optimal resource allocation. This position partners with the Director of Security on operational and capital budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, hiring, and contracts. The Security Manager also serves as the primary contact for customer complaints and internal investigations, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.
Drivers License credentialed from the Florida Bureau of Motor Vehicles preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
Ability to effectively read, write and type incident reports
Hold a Class D Security Officer License (Unarmed)
Hold a Class G Security Officer License (Armed)

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily rhythm of the security department, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help your team grow and succeed.
Direct daily shift assignments and security deployments to ensure that resources are exactly where they need to be, when they are needed most.
Partner with the Director of Security to plan operational and capital budgets, while ensuring we remain compliant with all regulations, policies, hiring, and contracts.
Serve as the point person for customer complaints and internal investigations, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism, helping to maintain the trust of everyone who walks through our doors.
