About The Position

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an electrician or in a similar position.
• Significant experience with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
• Significant experience using electrical and hand tools, such as wire strippers and voltmeters, and reading electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and ability to work long shifts and overnight.
• Diploma in relevant training or completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
• Valid license to practice the profession.

Responsibilities

• Follow electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercoms, and other electrical systems.
• Set up and manage electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarms and other systems.
• Set up safety and distribution components, including switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Set up and manage wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility.
• Organize conduits and connect wiring through them.
• Inspect and replace old wiring and insulated cables, and clean circuits and other elements to help prevent system breakdowns.
• Inspect and troubleshoot hazards or malfunctions, repairing or replacing damaged units.
