About The Position

We are looking for an Electrician to set up and maintain electrical infrastructure, minimizing the probability of accidents and maximizing the usability of electricity in facilities. Duties include installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances. The candidate should be prepared to work with all safety precautions and experienced with different kinds of electrical devices and systems.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working as an electrician or in a similar position.
• Significant experience with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
• Significant experience with electrical and hand tools, including wire strippers and voltmeters, and with electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and ability to work long shifts and overnight.
• Diploma in relevant training or successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
• Valid license to practice the profession.

Responsibilities

• Follow electrical wiring plans to ensure the proper functioning of lighting, intercoms, and other electrical systems.
• Set up and manage electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
• Set up safety and distribution components, such as switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Set up and manage wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility.
• Organize conduits and connect wiring through them.
• Inspect and replace old wiring and insulated cables, and clean circuits and other elements to prevent system breakdowns.
• Inspect and troubleshoot hazards or malfunctions, repairing or replacing damaged units.
