About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol security officer to support a food and beverage production location in Aurora, Illinois. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, documenting observations, and providing customer service and communication. The scheduled shifts are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.72 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment depending on state or local requirements.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, visitor and contractor entry, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies and food production facility requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.
