About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location in Plainfield, Illinois. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, vendors, products, equipment, and facilities by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting observations. The role involves customer service and following site-specific procedures, access-control activities, and emergency response protocols. The listed pay rate is $20.22 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific procedures, access-control activities, and emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report security concerns, hazards, and unusual activity.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor access as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
Report damaged barriers, unsecured doors, and other security-related conditions to help protect products, equipment, and facilities.
