About The Position

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a per diem Security Guard at its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in West Orange, New Jersey. The role maintains the overall security of the facility and protects patients, employees, and hospital property. It enforces hospital safety and security policies, conducts required rounds, and responds to emergencies. The position includes weekday and weekend shifts across three schedules: 12 a.m.–8 a.m., 8 a.m.–4 p.m., and 4 p.m.–12 a.m. Per diem staff must be available for six shifts during each six-week schedule, including at least three Saturday or Sunday shifts. Compensation is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state-issued driver's license in good standing.
• At least one year of experience.
• Per diem availability for six shifts per six-week schedule, with at least three shifts on Saturday or Sunday.

• Previous hospital security or corporate security experience.
