Security Guard - Per Diem/PRN
About The Position
Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is hiring a per diem Security Guard at its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in West Orange, New Jersey. The hospital provides care for people facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The Security Guard maintains facility security and protects patients, employees, and hospital property. The role enforces hospital safety and security policies, completes required rounds, and responds to emergencies. The position is per diem and includes weekday and weekend shifts. Per diem staff must be available for six shifts in each six-week schedule, including three weekend shifts on Saturdays or Sundays. Compensation is $19.50 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state-issued driver's license in good standing.
- At least one year of experience.
- Must be available to work six shifts per six-week schedule, including three weekend shifts on Saturday or Sunday.
