About The Position

As a full-time Security Guard in a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California, you will help create a welcoming, professional environment by managing access control, greeting visitors, issuing badges, and supporting security-related communications. You will use computer or tablet systems to maintain accurate records and assist occupants and guests. The role is with Allied Universal, where teamwork, integrity, reliability, innovation, and a people-first culture guide interactions. The pay rate is $20.10 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
Monitor building access, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to site-specific policies.
Answer phones, receive deliveries, manage incoming inquiries, and provide directions and building information.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established emergency response procedures.
Monitor front desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
