About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients across industries, including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and patrolling the business and its perimeter. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, depending on state and local requirements.
• A resume must be uploaded for an interview.

Nice To Haves

• Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience, or a bachelor's degree, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
