About The Position

As a Security Guard Training Center in Denver, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients in transportation and other industries. In this unarmed security role at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers and employees. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and document activity using computer or tablet technology. The role is full time and pays $22.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned terminal areas, concourses, gates, baggage areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential security concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and compliance with site rules while maintaining professional communication with stakeholders.
