About The Position

As a Security Guard Medical Facility Access Control in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in an educational setting. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s culture. This is a full-time position scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate campus personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with campus stakeholders and emergency responders.
