About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Bank Protection in Lakewood, Ohio, to provide security at a financial institution. The position offers a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts at other sites through a scheduling platform. The schedule provides a consistent base while allowing hours to increase up to 40 per week or scale back. Pay is $28.00 per hour. The listed shift is Friday, 8:30 AM–6:30 PM.

The role provides customer service while following security procedures and site-specific policies, monitoring banking operations and access points, conducting armed patrols, responding to incidents and alarms, and maintaining accurate reports. Applicants are subject to applicable background investigations and drug screening, and must participate in industry-specific security training.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Armed Guard Card or license.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Monitor access points, lobby areas, and banking operations; verify credentials and report unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to policy.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while handling sensitive information professionally and discreetly.
