About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Guard, also described as a Security Ambassador–Tactical, for a site in Kansas City, Missouri. The role involves patrolling sensitive environments, observing for suspicious activity and risk, controlling access, and responding to incidents to help protect people and property. The position requires moving around and standing or walking throughout the shift.

Two full-time schedules are offered, both Thursday through Sunday: a second-shift schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., or a first-shift schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The wage is $23.31 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
