About The Position

As a Security Guard Property Patrol in Los Angeles, California, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas as an unarmed patrol officer. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, and communicate professionally while supporting a welcoming environment. The role is part-time and pays $19.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 AM–9:00 AM. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants must undergo a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants must undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, solving problems and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and report observations through established channels.
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in required reports and logs.
