About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Guard to patrol a commercial real estate location in New York, NY. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting routine patrols, monitoring property access, assisting tenants and visitors, and providing customer service. The officer responds to incidents and alarms, documents observations, and follows site-specific procedures and reporting requirements. The schedule is Saturday from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.06 per hour.

Requirements

A New York State Security Guard License is required.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may need to be met before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, exterior grounds, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor property access and verify visitor and vendor entry as directed; report access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Document patrol activities, incidents, and maintenance or security-related observations according to company and site procedures.
