About The Position

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company serving major wireless telecommunications, high-speed Internet, and cable providers. The company has more than 11,000 full-time employees across over 60 U.S. operations and more than 20,000 employees worldwide. The Security Guard maintains a safe and secure warehouse environment by patrolling and monitoring the premises, controlling access to facilities, and preventing theft, violence, and other illegal activities. The weekend shift is Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The hourly pay rate is $21.36. The role is performed in a warehouse environment and involves responding to alarms and emergencies, conducting patrols, monitoring CCTV and fire alarm systems, maintaining security records, monitoring facility traffic and access, reporting incidents, and assisting employees and visitors. The guard also works with warehouse management and other security personnel to implement security procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Other duties may be assigned based on the business the warehouse supports. Applicants must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years old, and be authorized to work in the United States. This position does not qualify for visa sponsorship. A high school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Ability to intervene in physical altercations, manage disruptive individuals, and deter unauthorized entry while prioritizing safety and de-escalation.
Ability to take control and give clear instructions during safety or security incidents while remaining calm under pressure.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to provide clear guidance and ensure adherence to facility rules, especially entry and exit protocols.
Familiarity with CCTV and Access Control systems and their operations.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
Strong observation and surveillance skills.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
United States work authorization is required.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in security or a related field.
Previous experience in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service, testing and repair, or forward logistics operation.
Prior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, and emergencies.
Conduct regular patrols of warehouse premises to detect and deter suspicious activity.
Monitor designated CCTV and fire alarm systems and address security or safety concerns according to established protocols.
Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, including incident reports and logbooks.
Monitor vehicles entering and exiting the facility.
Document and report security incidents, hazards, or breaches to relevant authorities.
Monitor and regulate employee and visitor access, controlling entry and exit points.
Assist employees and visitors with safety and security concerns and provide guidance and directions within the facility.
Collaborate with warehouse management and other security personnel to implement security procedures and protocols.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Perform other duties assigned based on the business the warehouse supports.
