About The Position

Allegiance is hiring a Weekend Security Guard for an industrial facility in Claremont, North Carolina. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a stated hourly pay rate of $13.00. On-the-job training is provided. The role supports facility security and client service by following post orders and company directives, monitoring security cameras, interacting tactfully with the public, and documenting observations and investigations. The position requires extended periods of standing or walking on varied surfaces and the ability to handle stressful situations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Ability to work all shifts.
Ability to understand, interpret, and follow rules, instructions, and lawful orders.
Ability to cope with stressful work situations.
Physical stamina and dexterity.
Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
Ability to detect building safety hazards, communicate them to appropriate staff, and follow mandated safety requirements.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain a guard license.

Responsibilities

Assist Allegiance management with delegated duties and functions.
Follow written and verbal directives, post orders, company policies and procedures, and other directives.
Stand or walk for extended periods, potentially for an entire shift, on varied surfaces.
Monitor security cameras.
Promote public relations and awareness and deal tactfully with the public.
Assist in investigations concerning loss of or damage to client property.
Obtain detailed statements; write reports; interview, observe, and document information professionally.
Detect safety hazards in the building, communicate them to appropriate staff, and follow mandated safety requirements.
