About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Guard for a primarily driving role in Saint Louis, Missouri. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine armed patrols at an assigned location, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and responding professionally to security-related concerns. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. The position includes customer service, clear communication, and participation in industry-specific security training programs.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for an armed role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence and respond professionally to security-related concerns.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
