About The Position

As a Security Guard Business Property in El Segundo, California, you will safeguard a commercial real estate client while providing a welcoming presence for tenants, visitors, and guests. You will monitor access, support security-related procedures, communicate clearly, assist with visitor management, respond to incidents, and help maintain an orderly environment. The role is full time and pays $20.70 per hour. The listed schedule is 3:00 PM–11:30 PM on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Monitor building access by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor front-desk communications, including phones, radios, and electronic access systems, and relay information to building management and emergency responders as needed.
Help maintain an orderly lobby by reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
