About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol driver to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Ramsey, New Jersey. The role involves visible security patrols, access monitoring, alarm monitoring, incident response, and professional customer service. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, at $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior office areas, building exteriors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct guests to appropriate contacts or locations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
