About The Position

As a part-time Security Guard in Allentown, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard clients at commercial real estate and technology, media, and telecommunications locations. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and site personnel while supporting a welcoming environment. The role follows site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements; provide directions and assist with authorized entry processes.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications, and promptly report maintenance, access, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
