About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Jupiter, Florida. The role serves and safeguards clients in a healthcare setting by conducting armed mobile patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The position includes customer service, communication, incident response, and access-control duties. The scheduled shifts are Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $24.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Possess a CPO certification.
- Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
- An armed guard card or license.
- Customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, coordinating with hospital personnel and public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vehicle, and contractor access according to site-specific requirements.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
