About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard for the Sacramento Art Museum in Sacramento, California. The role serves and safeguards clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to incidents. Work is part-time flex with day, swing, or grave shifts; candidates must have open availability on weekdays and weekends and be able to walk and stand for extended periods. Pay is $20.10 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Be able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Have open availability on weekdays and weekends.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
