About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard to conduct computer-assisted patrols at a commercial location in West Palm Beach, Florida. The unarmed patrol officer drives throughout the location, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provides customer service and clear communication. The position requires a valid driver’s license. Officers respond to security concerns with integrity, teamwork, and reliability while helping maintain a welcoming and secure environment. The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.67 per hour. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is conditional on background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening. State or local licensing may be required before employment. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business location and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.
