About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard for overnight work at a healthcare location in Phoenix, Arizona. The unarmed officer safeguards patients, visitors, staff, and the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, supporting access-control and alarm-related activities, and providing professional customer service. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.01 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Experience with alarm panels.
A guard card or license.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, follow site protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, and report unusual conditions or concerns.
Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
