About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Screening Security Guard in Jacksonville, Florida, serving a logistics and distribution location. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, supporting access control and screening activities, and providing customer service and clear communication. The listed schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Pay is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.
A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe vehicle, employee, contractor, and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports, and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
