About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Guard to support a healthcare location in Cleveland, Ohio. The role involves safeguarding patients, visitors, staff, and facilities through patrols, access-point monitoring, emergency response, and customer service. Officers are expected to maintain a visible presence, communicate effectively, follow site-specific procedures, and respond calmly and professionally to concerns and critical situations. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.40 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment and to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in accordance with site protocols.
Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, staff, and emergency responders in accordance with facility procedures.
Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
