About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol Security Guard at a manufacturing and industrial location in Blythewood, South Carolina, you will help safeguard clients, employees, visitors, and property. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible security presence, and provide professional customer service. The role includes following site-specific security procedures and policies, responding to emergencies, and accurately documenting observations and activities. The schedule is Monday and Friday from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Pay is $19.10 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and assist with traffic flow and site entry procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established procedures, and contact appropriate personnel when needed.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with company and site-specific reporting requirements.
