About The Position
Security Services Northwest, Inc. (SSNW) is a full-service security company founded in 1977, offering professional and complete security services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers across multiple states. SSNW is nationally recognized as a supplement for Department of Defense anti-terrorism force protection. Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a clean criminal record and driving record
- Must have, or be able to obtain a Security Guard license in Washington State
- Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.
- Reliable transportation
- Honesty and Integrity
- Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- 2-4 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) preferred
- Prior Public Safety and/or Military experience preferred
- Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment
Responsibilities
- Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
- Conduct regular patrols
- Monitor activities
- Surveillance
- Access Control
- Safety escorts
- Using provided communication devices
- Represent SSNW’s brand
- Properly wear the issued uniform
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
- Complete Incident Reports
- Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
- Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.
- Other duties as described in the Post Orders
