About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Asset Protection in Beverly Hills, California, at a luxury retail location. The role provides customer service and security support, including access control, visitor interactions, patrols, incident response, and reporting. The position has a designated weekly shift and assigned site, with a required six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust their schedule as needed. The stated pay rate is $23.65 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law and may need to be met before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.

• A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and retail staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Maintain a professional presence at a luxury retail location and assist with access control, visitor interactions, and established entry and exit procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail floor, stock areas, common areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
