Located at 3500 21st Street in Lauderdale Lakes, we feature hundreds of vehicles running through our lanes every Wednesday, creating a dynamic environment that requires top-notch security! We're looking for a 2nd Shift Security Guard; you'll be the friendly face at the gate, checking in visitors, verifying passes, and keeping a watchful eye on the property. From monitoring security systems to patrolling the lot, your role is essential to protecting vehicles, equipment, and people. This is more than just a security position, it's about teamwork, attention to detail, and making a real impact every day. Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Prior security and/or auto auction experience required
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members
- Integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Must be able to work auction days and adapt to varying schedules
Responsibilities
- Verify IDs and authorization passes for transporters, customers, and guests
- Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver excellent customer service
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Maintain accurate logs and records that keep our operation running smoothly
- Add incoming vehicles to our inventory system using modern technology
- Moving vehicles as needed in the auction lot and facility
- Respond to and investigate situations with confidence and professionalism
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure facility security and safety
