About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Guard Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during a specific shift at an assigned customer location. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Be able to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• For driving positions, possess a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated criteria, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Be prepared to undergo a driver's record check if required.
