About The Position

As a Security Guard Patrol in Denver, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including retail and malls. In this unarmed patrol role at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service. The position is full-time and pays $24.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor activity and report suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
