About The Position

As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Wenatchee, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to ride a bike is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions that need attention.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and communicating clearly with personnel, visitors, and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations.
