As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized access at a utilities location.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and communicate with staff, contractors, and visitors regarding site rules, restricted areas, and/or entry procedures.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and assisting with security-related requests in changing indoor and outdoor conditions.
