Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor processing in accordance with site policies and financial institution protocols.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or policy violations, and report maintenance, access, and security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
