About The Position

In-N-Out Burger is hiring a full-time armed Security Guard II to help maintain the safety and security of its Chino, California facility and grounds. The position is hourly and non-exempt. The Security Guard serves as a receptionist and greeter in the lobby, screens and logs visitors, conducts surveillance and patrols, and responds to suspicious activity and emergencies. The role requires professionalism, good judgment, customer-service skills, and the ability to work effectively with a team and without constant direct supervision. The schedule is flexible across day, swing, and overnight shifts, with weekend and holiday availability required. The pay range is $27.16–$31.25 per hour; actual pay depends on experience and other job-related factors.

Requirements

Valid California Driver’s License.
Valid Guard Card.
California State Firearm Permit (Exposed Firearm Permit).
Security guard experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent customer-service and hospitality skills.
Strong communication skills.
Reliability and ability to work without constant direct supervision.
Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
Physical ability to capture and detain individuals if necessary.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods while monitoring surveillance equipment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Prior military or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain the safety and security of the Chino facility and grounds.
Operate the lobby, conduct foot patrols, monitor cameras, and understand the alarm system and emergency procedures.
Serve as a receptionist and greeter for facility visitors.
Screen and log visitors entering and exiting the complex.
Conduct routine surveillance and perform security patrols, protocol, and contingency operations.
Contact law enforcement or the fire department in emergencies.
After business hours, check doors and windows to ensure the property is secure.
Investigate reports of suspicious activity on the property.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain friendliness and professionalism.
Use good judgment in handling day-to-day operations.
Perform duties with pride and work cooperatively in a team environment.
